Well, that was quite the run on the Avocados. For about 3 days we had the creamiest, ready-to-eat Avocados on sale - 3 for one. They sold out like hot cross buns. Our apologies to any customers who missed out.
We still have Broccoli on sale, beautiful Broccoli. This may not help you as a Food Box customer, but anyone able to make the trip out to the Store may want to happily embrace the offer of 1 bunch of Broccoli for $2.75 instead of $4.25.
Yes, ordering ahead for July 1/2 does not work, since there will be NO DELIVERIES during the Canada Day week. We will be back for regular deliveries the following week, July 8/9. The Store will be open again as of July 2nd.
At the same time I feel like reminiscing about the imminent end of the Asparagus season. Seems like no sooner had it begun than it already ended. We are planning to include Asparagus in our Food Boxes one more time when we are back with regular deliveries July 8/9. Of course, you will be seeing Asparagus yet in coming week's Boxes (not the Fruit and Smoothie Basket, of course).
