FRUIT NEWS:

 

 

- Organic Green and Red Grapes from California are now available. Super taste - $7.25/lb.

 

- For the first time we are selling organic Raspberries in 6 oz clam shells. Super quality and taste!

 

- If you are looking for Apples? ….only Gala Apples in 3lb bags or loose available. It's just not the season now...

 

 

Veggie NEWS:

 

 

- Organic Broccoli is available now but the price is so high that we are opting to not carry it until it comes down to a more reasonable price.

 

- LOCAL Spinach bunches from  Pfenning's Farm are finally here! $2.95/ bunch. 

 

- Local Asparagus is in season! Coming from Chatham, ON - now $7.15/lb.

 

- Local Garlic Greens are here. They are also called "adolescent Garlic" and very aromatic. Bunched together like giant green onions - $2.75/bunch.

 

Chop them, sautee them like onions and use in any desired savory dish. Oh that scent coming from the frying pan is pure heaven.....!

 

- We were able to acquire more Watermelon Radishes. They are from the USA, 1/2lb size each and average $3.50 to $4.00 each. 

 

 

Chicken News: The list is filling up quickly. A few chickens left to sell. 

 

 

- On June 26th we will receive our first fresh WHOLE CHICKENS for the year. They are $5.25/lb and come from our usual farmer not far from here. They are raised like a chicken should be raised: lots of space to roam, green grass to pick and sunshine on their back.

 

Call the Store - 519-725-4282 - if you are not yet on the CHICKEN LIST. Pre-order is a must!

We have a little mini garden in a giant planter in front of our Store. All kinds of greens and flowers growing there. It's unbelieble how things have now kick-started into the fast growing phase. There is some Chard there too which looks like it will be ready in just a few short weeks.

 

That's only our little storefront minigarden. Now in the fields, it's becoming more exciting by the day. We'll keep y'all posted!
