Bulk Sale of the week:

-  Organic Black Figs; reg. $11.25/lb  -  now $9.60/lb (1 lb = 454g)
 
Figs are a nutrient-dense (high in potassium) choice for snacks or as an ingredient in baking or cooking recipes.

- All the dried Cranberries with their seasonal red colors are on SALE

- Organic Cranberries (sweetened with apple juice, sunflower oil); reg. 13.20/lb  - now $11.25/lb

- Organic Cranberries from Springbrook Farm (sweetened with cane sugar, no oil); reg. $14.30  -  now $12.15/lb.

Here's a simple Cranberry Vinaigrette recipe from Springbrook Farm:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup raw cranberries
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp fresh herbs - at this time Parsley - minced

Preparation:

Process 1/2 cup of raw cranberries with 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar until smooth. Whisk in 1/2 cup olive oil and 2 tablespoons minced fresh herbs such as parsley, oregano, chives or thyme.

• 3lb Anjou Pears from B.C. are the new addition to the pear display this week. $ 5.50/bag

• Organic Blackberries in 6oz clams are available this week. The dark colour ensures Blackberries have one of the highest antioxidant levels of all fruits.

• Mangoes are back - Atulfo Mango and Tommy Mango. Both are looking very beautiful in our display.

• Cauliflower looking still better this week. Nice big heads for now $2.95 each.

• Organic Ginger from Peru is a wonderful addition to any meal or drink. The Ginger price us now $3.86/lb.

• Last call for Local and Quebec Green Kale. The bunches are generous and looking beautiful. We will see if California can compete with such an exceptional quality, especially at this time of the year!

• Organic Romaine Lettuce gets a mention because the quality is exceptionally good. The heads are heavy and deep green, for only $2.25each.

Now that we are (more or less) slowly being eased into the holiday season, may we point your heads toward the ever so good Harmony Egg Nog. If you have not had it yet, may we suggest you try this incomparable Egg Nog? It is truly the best Egg Nog on the market, with all organic ingredients.

Stickling's Stollen, Spitzkuchen, Vanillla Cresents and other delectable Christmas bakings have now arrived at the Store. Have a look and see if anything touches your fancy...
