Store Notes from Almut:
Thank you to everyone who made it out to our 20th Anniversary celebration. It was a 2-week-long jubilee. We left a few of the specials on sale until stock runs out.
- All 3 flavors of Simply Natural BBQ Sauce are reg. $5.00 now on SALE for $3.50. (Honey, Tangy & Smokey)
- Amy's Spicy Chili is reg. $5.00 now $3.50
- Mary's Original Crackers are $4.95/box on SALE, reg. 6.95each.
Produce NEWS:
There is currently not very much new to report on the produce end. We are now moving into the "Root Season."
- Local Organic Parsley Root has arrived. Some of you have been waiting for this amazing vegetable since last season.
- LOCAL 'Pfenning's' Broccoli is looking very beautiful and is also well-priced for $2.50/bunch.
- 3lb bags of Bartlett Pears from B.C. are here - $5.00/bag. You can also eat them green, but a ripe, yellow-coloured Bartlett Pear is one of the creamiest fruits you can enjoy.
- LOCAL Organic Mini Mix Peppers are being sold by weight. They come in Red, Yellow, Orange and Purple colour.
- LOCAL Watermelon Radishes have arrived for the season. They come in 1lb and 1/2lb sizes. In case you are new to this vegetable - it is a mild Radish with a bright, tasty, pink flesh on the inside.
- 3lb bags of B.C. Ambrosia Apples are the new Apple this week.
- Make sure to check out our Bargain Corner! Always lots of very interesting bargains to find there.
We would also like to welcome our new employee Tabitha at the Store. While Kacy is traveling in India for 2 months, we will keep the Store going with Tabitha's and Andrea's help.
