FRUIT NEWS:
- Tommy Mangoes from Mexico. With lots of red and orange colour in their cheeks - $1.65 ea
- From B.C. we have Spartan Apples and Fuji Bags in 3lb Bags. Spartans are great apples for apple crisps, apple sauce and for eating.
- Also from B.C. are the Anjou Pears in 3lb bags. There are about 10 to 11 pears per bag for $5.25. Loose and BIG they are available for $1.25 each.
- Red and Green Grapes from South Africa - $7.02/lb.
VEGGIE NEWS:
- Red and Orange Pepper are on Sale for $2.00 each.
- Dianne from Golden Acres (north of Stratford) is back with her incomparable Chantenay Carrots!
- This week the Romaine Lettuce is on SALE! After all the hype about contaminated Romaine Lettuce - there is nothing better than making a great bowl of Organic Caesar Salad. Did you know that Organic Romaine was never affected by the recall?
- Beautiful Green Onions are available this week. Top your salad with it!
- Red Radish Bunches will give your salad even more colour.
- We are now offering the 1.5lb to 2lb mixed Soup & Stewing Veggies ($3.15/lb) on our website. It will include a little bit of: Carrots, Cabbage, Potatoes, Celeriac Root, Parsley Root, Rutabaga and Leek or Onions.
Wash, dice and put in a pot, cover veggies with water, Add 1-2 cups of Lentils or Barley and you will end up with the most amazing "Stew". You will get a meal for a family for under $10.00! Yes, yes, yes, it's also vegan...

The time has come that Kacy, who was still with us part-time, is now leaving us to pursue her own ventures. So there is a PART-TIME POSITION OPEN, if you know of anyone who might be interested.
