We are taking a Bulk/Meat Sale break for the moment. There are various other attractive Sale items available at the store. 
 

Please go to our website and scroll through the Featured items or check out the BARGAIN Corner. The Bargain Corner gets refreshed every Thurday. We did get a new 'Freezer Pallet' for our OUTLET section today. The freezers are fully stocked with a variety of interesting Foods.

Produce 'Picks' of the week:

• LOCAL Rainier Cherries arrived from Palatine Fruit this week. Here is what Wikepedia has to say:

'Rainiers' are considered a premium type of cherry. They are sweet with a thin skin and thick creamy-yellow flesh. The cherries are very sensitive to temperature, wind, and rain. About 1/3 of a 'Rainier' cherry orchard's crop is eaten by birds

• Local Sweet Cherries from Palatine Fruit in Niagara are still available. All Cherries are $5.90/lb.

• LOCAL Apricots and Yellow Plums are here as well. You 'fruit lover's out there, get ready to prepare for a fruit feast.

• LOCAL fresh Dill is here. If you want to chop and freeze it, this is the time to buy a few bunches. Nothing better than to have fresh Dill in the winter. They are $2.75/bunch.

• We do have LOCAL Red Cabbage now. The heads average 1-2lb size. 

• A treat this week are also the LOCAL Grape Tomatoes.  They come in Orange/Red colour and are very sweet tasting.

Almut asked me to include this (although I was a bit reluctant):

It is Wolfgang's (my better half) birthday tomorrow. Wolfgang will be 26 years young!! Give him a pat on the back next time you see him. He deserves it. I think he is doing an amazing job delivering your boxes every week. He always has a smile on his face and a few friendly words for everybody. We are having an early Birthday Dinner planned tonight, so I am checking out of the Store in a hurry now...…
