Meat Sale of the week:

LOCAL Trail Salami from Noah. reg. 14.00/lb  -  now $12.75/lb

Noah from Goderich grows the fresh chickens we received 2 weeks ago and will be receiving on Nov 24th (if you are on the Chicken List). He is not certified organic, but farms in a sustainable manner without any herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. He uses non-GMO feed. 
Ingredients for the Trail Salami: Beef, Pork, Sea Salt & Spices, Ascorbic Acid. No nitrates in this product. 
 

Our TURKEY List for Christmas is open. If you are thinking of a Turkey for the holidays I suggest you put your name on the list ASAP. We have only limited birds available. $6.00/lb. The birds are certified organic from Yorkshire Valley and are grown in Woodstock ON.

Produce 'Picks' of the week:

• LOCAL Pie Pumpkins are almost done for their short season.

• Bosc Pears from B.C. are available in 3lb bags or loose.

• A new batch of Blueberries from Argentina are here. They are very nice quality.

• Pineapples are bigger in size from last week. now $5.50.

• LOCAL Green Jalapeno Peppers are still available. You get about 3-4 Jalapenos for $1.00. A good deal for something that makes your food taste so deliciously spicy...!!!! Dry them - blend them - bottle them - voila, your own LOCAL hot pepper spice!! (whoever does like it spicy... guess you can tell by now that I do)

• Broccoli from USA is down in price for $4.75/bunch.

• Zucchinis are well priced this week - on average about $1.00each.

• Sadly the LOCAL Lettuce season is over. We are introducing all California Red/Green Leaf Lettuce and Romaine this week. 

• Now that local lettuce is done, we are offering - for the winter months - the Baby Spring Mix Lettuce in bulk again. We buy it in bulk and package it in bags at the Store.

Outlet News:

From our OUTLET this week we have.... NOTHING! All the Cheese is gone. We hope to be back on track with some interesting items next week.

So now our farmers are scrambling to get everything done before winter really arrives - such as getting the rest of the local Carrots in. After that cold spell last week the Spinach that was still left in the fields seems to have survived quite well. Hooray for extending that local season a bit!
